I'm not real sure how I found this group, the past six months have been a bit of a blur. In October at 32+ weeks pregnant we were told our son developed fetal hydrops and ended up being care flighted to a bigger hospital to have an emergency c section done to try to save him. Unfortunately he passed just five hours after birth. The following week I made the decision to donate my breastmilk. I pumped for three weeks and was able to donate just over 300 ounces of milk. I made sure to save a few bags back and I'm so thankful that Erin was able to make these beautiful rings to remind me of my sweet little angel and the gift I was able to provide other babies because of him

I reached out to Erin after being apart of Pieces of Us page for a while. I had been wanting something created to cherish the small amount of milk I was able to produce. I was told by several doctors that I'd probably never be a mama...well God had other plans and miracle baby was born in June 2021. Due to health reasons I couldn't nurse and hardly produced any milk, however I was able to save a tiny bit. When I look at this piece it's more than just a ring to me, it's a reminder that even when times gets tough, I am tougher. God's plans are much greater than we think. I am so grateful that Erin put together this beautiful ring I will love forever!
